In 1910 Olly Oakley formed a concert party called the Humoresks. Our two major sources of information about this group are the A.P.Sharpe biography and Ted Oakley’s scrapbook, which contains material pertaining especially to the Humoresks’ tour of South Africa during the winter of 1915/16.
