The Jones Family Scrapbook
Since we started this web site back in the early Spring,
there have constant surprises, not least of which was being contacted by
Dominic Jones, the great grandson of Ernest Jones. Dominic and his family
have very kindly given us access to their family memorabilia. We will be
publishing these items on a monthly basis.

In the 1901 census, the Jones family was living at No29
Runcorn Road, Birmingham.
Ernest then aged 18 lived there with his two sisters
(Elsie and Lilian) father Thomas and mother Eliza. Ernest's
profession is Clerk of a Bedstead Works.
There is also a boarder living at the house
called Gertrude Johnson.
