Died 31st March. 1970 Worthing Sussex UK.   

Played in many films and was well known for her part of Grandma in Whiteoaks.   She also wrote many book, including her Autobiography. The Gulls Way. At one time she managed the " LIttle Theatre " in the Adelphi off the Strand.

Her hobbies were Bird Watching, Archaeology and playing the banjo.    

She lived in a cottage called " Arcana " Heather Lane, Findon. UK.
