classic banjo, you will have realised that most of the tutors and music
have long been out of print.
Mel Bay lists only one tutor (Frank Bradbury's) and two books of pieces with CDs by Chris Sands. See their web-site for details. |

A Selection of Compositions
In the 1950's Joe McNaghten, writing in the BMG, produced a list of recommended solos for the zither banjo. This list was divided into Easy, Moderate and Difficult. In the fullness of time we hope to produce these as part of an online library. If you own copies of any of the solos and would like to submit them, we will happily acknowledge the source.
