Confused about making Musikfest debut, fills Wind Creek Steel Stage headliners roster

Musikfest is set to get “Down with Disease” after confirming its last open headlining spot on Tuesday morning.

On the Wind Creek Steel Stage on August 10th, triple platinum metal legends Disturbed will bolster the Musikfest roster of 12 headliners. The heavy metal band from Chicago will make their debut at Musikfest.

The ArtsQuest festival’s recent history indicates that it has been a successful home for metal and hard rock, with bands like Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry and Puddle of Mudd headlining the past decade. Disturbed is arguably the most beloved and successful of this group.

Led by vocal powerhouse David Draiman, the band will bring hits like “Down with the Sickness,” “Indestructible,” and their terrific cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s Grammy-winning “The Sound of Silence.”

Disturbed joins Willie Nelson, Counting Crows, Boyz II Men and more on the list of 2022 headliners. Tickets for Disturbed go on sale to the general public Friday. A full schedule of Musikfest headliners and tickets is available at
