Australian wine brand Jacob’s Creek has announced the launch of Unvined, an alcohol-free wine with less than 0.5% alcohol, available in two varietals – Riesling and Shiraz in India.
Unvined, a modern expression of winemaking, is the perfect answer to those occasions when one wants to enjoy a glass of wine without the alcohol content while retaining the true character of the original styles and flavors.
According to the company, Jacob’s Creek winemakers use technology that removes alcohol while capturing most of the wine’s original aromas and flavors. The Unvined range contains 50% fewer calories than regular wine of the same varietal, catering to the advanced consumer base looking for varied options to suit their preferences and mood.
Kartik Mohindra, Chief Marketing Officer, Pernod Ricard India, said: “Alcohol-free wine can seem counter-intuitive and out of the ordinary, but sometimes it’s exactly what the evening calls for. The idea behind creating Unvined was to make sure everyone can celebrate life’s important moments with friends and family in a way that fits their lifestyle. Given Jacob’s Creek’s extensive expertise in winemaking, we have created a product that has the perfect balance of taste while preserving the natural profile of the grape. We are proud to release Unvined in India. It is an exceptional product with less than 0.5% alcohol and a true expression of Australia’s premium wines”.
Unvined Riesling and Shiraz are available at select outlets in Delhi and Mumbai and across India through Amazon India.
